Description

Profusion Exhausts mufflers are regarded as the best exhaust mufflers available on the market today due to the high quality build. There are several methods to manufacture exhaust silencers, and some are cheap. In contrast, the most expensive process is the fully welded design, which we use, purely because of two main factors, deep sound and reliability.

Profusion Mufflers feature 304 grade stainless steel body. The end caps, and perforated core, with straight-through technology, is fully welded in place and not pressed, making the silencer one of the most robust designs. In addition, the two-stage acoustic fibre, delivers the performance and power needed with sound to match your vehicle.

When choosing a silencer for sound, a rule of thumb is that the larger the silencer, the quieter it will be. Although with a vast range to choose from, our silencers can be installed in any vehicle, petrol or diesel; all our mufflers/silencers are universal fitment and should be installed by a professional.

Note one: Our mufflers/silencers, can be welded or clamped in place.

Note two: All mufflers are shown as ID (internal diameter) for example, if you are using a 2.5 inch muffler, a 2.5 inch OD (outside diameter) inch tube will slide inside the muffler end.

    18Inch Stainless Exhaust Silencer

    Unlike most people viewing this site, Im not a mad car fanatic. I drive because i have to. I recently had the exhaust rust through on my hybrid mitsubishi and rather than wait a month for a £1500 exhaust, i had a stanless fitted by a reputable maker near me. Whilst the exhaust looks great, the bigger bore than standard was quite throaty and bugging on long journeys. I bought the 18inch silencer to try to take the tone down a notch or two and it has done the job perfectly. It has smoothed out the raspy note of the 2inch bore and made the exhaust sound really smooth and not at all annoying. Fitting was extremely easy with the lap joint clamps. These people know how to produce quality parts at a very reasonable price.
